A 3 Days Covenant of Prayer For Revival And Spiritual Awakening

a covenant of prayer for revival and spiritual awakening

God’s Spirit often moves most powerfully among His people during times of deepest darkness or difficulty. Our hearts are being stirred. Trying to get our attention. Notifying us of the need for change in our own lives and in the world.

Stories of great revival renewed spiritual awakening, and God’s Spirit at work may be found throughout the Bible, even in the midst of tremendous distress and difficult circumstances. Because when we reach the end of ourselves, when we’re able to admit our own weakness and sin, or when we see with new eyes how this world can never truly satisfy the places in our hearts that only God can fill, we’re acutely aware of our need for His mercy, forgiveness, and the filling of His Spirit once more.

It can be difficult to even know how to pray at times. We only know we have a great longing in our hearts for God’s help and to see him mend the brokenness in our lives and in the world. He reminds us that He sees our hearts, hears our cries, knows the solution and that He is with us.

To the brokenhearted, he will always be faithful and loving. Those whose hearts are fully His are always supported.

“For the LORD’s eyes traverse the globe, so that He may steadfastly maintain those whose hearts are fully His…” (2 Chronicles 16:9; 2 Chronicles 16:10)

Do you need a revival prayer? Below is a covenant of prayer for revival and spiritual awakening examples that you can use right now.

What Does “Praying for Revival” Mean?

God is not a God who forces His will on human hearts, which is why He created people with free will. We have the freedom to choose whether to follow Him or to follow the ways of the world because of this free will. What we can do is pray that the Holy Spirit would operate in men’s hearts to open their eyes to God’s glory and to a desire to learn more.

“I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit in you,” Ezekiel 36:26 says. “I will remove your stone heart and give you a heart of flesh.” This is a verse that we should genuinely pray for our country and the rest of the world.

Experienced true revival as a result of the Holy Spirit, and he went on to write the eye-opening book “A Case for Christ.” When we pray for revival, we don’t just want people to become Christians in the name; we want their eyes opened and their hearts softened so that they can actually come into friendship and communion with the Creator of the Universe. It is our honor and responsibility to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which involves praying for the Holy Spirit to come and refresh the hearts of our neighbors.

When it comes to revival, what does the Bible have to say?

God’s desire is for His creation to come to know Him. This is why, when God created Adam and Eve, they chose to live with Him in the Garden of Eden. The Bible is filled with accounts of individuals who had turned their backs on God, but God’s kindness and grace beckoned them back to be rewarded. Jonah was sent to Nineveh to tell the people the truth in order to spare them from the consequences of their sins, and the people experienced a revival as a result. Revival occurs as a result of God’s compassionate heart. This isn’t a revival in name only; it’s a revival in which individuals are given new life. The dry bones are mentioned in Ezekiel 37, as well as God’s order Ezekiel to speak life into the people’s dry bones. We, too, can pray for the return of such life to our world’s dried bones.

Covenant Revival Prayer

Dear Heavenly, Father.

Prayer for revival 1

People nowadays wander aimlessly in search of meaning and life. They don’t find what they’re looking for because they’re not looking for it in the genuine essence of life. Father, we gather here today as real and sincere believers of You to humbly and earnestly pray for the revival of souls in this generation. In Matthew 7, you tell us to come to You as our Father and ask for what we want. Lord, we pray that our friends, families, and neighbors will be open to seeking and discovering the truth of life’s ultimate source. We ask that You pour out Your Holy Spirit on the people You have created. We invite You to work wonders, perform miracles, and speak to the people You created with Your hands. Father, You say in Psalm 139 that You crafted each and every person in the hidden region in the palm of Your hand, so we pray that truth will be revealed in each and every one of them. Truth can only be truly known by Your Spirit (John 15:26), so we pray for a revival of spirits, nations, and hearts this day.

We pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen

Prayer for revival 2

Please, Lord, awaken the church from its slumber! The church has grown cold, and the brethren have lost their desire to seek spiritual help from you for a solution to their problems. Please help to resurrect our local churches and denominations! Allow us to look for your face for direction and instructions. Allow brethren to place a higher value on prayer and sanctity than other influences. Allow the brethren to work with you so that we can see signs and wonders similar to those seen in the early church. Sustain our leaders by rescuing them from carnality and self-interest. Allow the church leaders and followers to prosper on earth while simultaneously being prepared for the rapture. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer for revival 3

In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that God grant us the spirit of love for our fellow Christians and myself. May the Almighty God grant us the ability to love one another! May the churches set aside their differences in order to love and serve God in a spirit of unity! May the Christian fold be free of pride, stubbornness, and self-righteousness! May all God’s children feel and experience God’s unconditional love, which is beyond human comprehension! May all believers in Christ be blessed today, tomorrow, and forever!

Prayer for revival 4

Father, Allow both the church leaders and the members of the congregation to submit to you. Allow denominations to submit their private doctrines to biblical scrutiny; allow all churches and brethren to join hands to promote your righteousness in our lands. Allow the church to make gospel outreach a top priority and to invest heavily in it so that unbelievers all over the world can be saved. Please don’t let your brethren fail you any longer; instead, let us serve you energetically and consistently so that we may be blessed both on earth and in heaven. All of these petitions are made in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer For Spiritual Awakening

We come to you today, humbly, in need of your grace, and hoping for the power of your Holy Spirit to refresh us. We beg your pardon for all the times we’ve strayed so far from your presence. We are in desperate need of your healing and grace. We are yearning for you to restore our faith in you. Thank you for reminding us that you are always faithful and that you are always working on behalf of your children – drawing us closer to you once more.

Please forgive us for wandering away from you, for getting caught up in everything the world has to offer, and for allowing other things to take precedence in our lives. We bring you these spots where we’re hurting, the shattered parts that others may not see, but only you can truly comprehend. You’re aware of the suffering we’ve endured, as well as our burdens and concerns. You’re aware of the places where we still need to be set free. We pray for your healing and strength to cover every damaged place in our hearts, and for our faith in you to be renewed once more.

Help us to live in the now, to make sensible decisions, to stay close to you, and to be grounded in your truth. Thank you so much for your amazing mercy and love. Thank you for patiently waiting for us to return, for calling us to yourself, and for strengthening us when we are weak.

Lord, wake us up! Remind us to live in the moment, to redeem the time, to pay attention to your messages, and to be willing to make a difference in the places you’ve asked us to be. Thank you for acting on behalf of your children with your powerful force. Please extend your grace and freedom to us as a gesture of kindness. Protect us with your shield. Your strength should be used to empower us. We beg for a new level of awareness of your presence in our lives and in the world around us. We pray for your guidance in faithfully proclaiming your name, and that all attempts by the enemy to silence the name of Jesus be foiled.

We pray that by allowing your Spirit to live and breathe within us, we will be a source of light and love in a world in dire need of your hope. Many people will come to know you as Savior and Lord. Push aside the forces of darkness that surround you by shining your light. Lord, by your enormous strength, open blind eyes and free those who are still incarcerated.
